MG Comet EV Latest Updates
The MG Comet EV is expected to be launched sooner than previously anticipated. The EV, which will be MG’s first mass-market offering in India, is likely to be introduced by around mid-April.

Previously, MG had confirmed that its next EV will be called the Comet EV in India. It will be a three-door compact EV based on the Wuling Air EV sold in Indonesia. It could be offered with multiple battery packs including a 17.3kWh and 26.7kWh pack, which could boast a claimed range of up to 300km. It’ll be the perfect EV for urban runabouts, thanks to its footprint of just 2,74mm (length), which is even shorter than that of the Tiago (3,769mm). Prices are likely to start from Rs 9 lakh onwards, and a launch should take place later this year.

MG Comet EV Competitors
It’ll be an indirect rival to the Tata Tiago EV and PMV Eas-E.
