Another of Toyota and Maruti Suzuki’s shared models, the Rumion is Toyota’s derivative of the Ertiga MPV. As with the Belta, little is expected to change in terms of styling when compared to its Maruti sibling. Most notably the Rumion could get a redesigned grille and wear Toyota badging with the cabin too expected to remain more or less unchanged. The Rumion will provide Toyota access to the lower end of the seven-seat MPV market, a segment that it moved away from when it first launched the Innova Crysta. In terms of engines, the Rumion will only be available with a petrol engine paired with either a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox.
