Last Updated On 28th Mar’23: Maruti Suzuki Jimny EV launch timeline is not known yet. However, we expect it to be launched sometime around 2025 or 2026. When launched, it might get a dual electric motor setup with all-wheel drive capabilities. This will make it a competitor to the upcoming Tata Harrier EV which is also expected to get a dual motor all-wheel drive setup.

Driving Range and Battery Capacity

As said above, there is no info about the launch of this product but we do expect that if brought in real-world, the Jimny EV is expected to have a driving range of 300-400 km. Along with this, a large battery pack that supports both DC fast charging and regular AC charging will be on offer. We believe that like the other Li-Ion batteries, this one too will carry a warranty of 8 years/1,60,000 km.
