Latest Update: Renault Triber is being offered with benefits of up to Rs 62,000 this July.

Price: The MPV is priced between Rs 6.33 lakh and Rs 8.97 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Variants: It can be had in four trims: RXE, RXL, RXT and RXZ.

Colours: The entry-level MPV comes in five monotone and five dual-tone shades: Ice Cool White, Cedar Brown, Metal Mustard, Moonlight Silver, Electric Blue, Ice Cool White with Black roof, Cedar Brown with Black roof, Metal Mustard with Black roof, Moonlight Silver with Black roof and Electric Blue with Black roof.

Seating Capacity: It can seat up to seven people.

Boot Space: It comes with a boot space of 84 litres, which can be extended to 625 litres, by tumbling down the third row.

Engine and Transmission: It is powered by a 1-litre naturally aspirated three-cylinder petrol engine (72PS/96Nm) paired with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. In future, it could also get the Kiger’s 100PS 1-litre turbo-petrol engine and the option of a CVT.

Features: The MPV comes with amenities such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 6-way adjustable driver seat with height adjustment, and steering-mounted music and phone controls. The MPV also gets AC vents for the second and third rows, push-button start/stop, cooled storage in the centre console and a digitised instrument cluster.

Safety: Passenger safety is ensured by electronic stability programme (ESP), hill start assist (HSA), traction control system (TCS) and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). It also comes with up to four airbags (front and side), ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and a rear-view camera.

Rivals: As of now, Renault Triber doesn’t have any direct rivals, but it competes with the likes of the Maruti Swift and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios due to its price point. Considering its price, the Mahindra Bolero can also be considered a rival.
