Hero Splendor Plus Price:

The Splendor’s self start with i3S stop-start system variant is priced at Rs 73,396 while the one without i3S will cost you Rs 72,076. The Black and Accent i3S variant costs Rs 73,396 while its Matt Shield Gold counterpart retails at Rs 74,396. The top-end Splendor Plus Xtec will set you back by Rs 75,840 (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi).

Hero Splendor Plus Features:

In its Xtec iteration, the Splendor Plus gets a segment-first fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity for call and SMS alerts on the instrument console. It also gets a dual tripmeter, real time mileage indicator and low fuel indicator. The headlight now features an offset LED DRL. The i3S variant, as the name suggests, gets Hero’s trademark ‘Idle Stop-Start System’ which turns the engine off whenever it idles for more than five seconds in traffic. You can then turn on the engine by pulling the clutch lever. This system ensures better mileage, especially on traffic-riddled roads.

Hero Splendor Plus Engine: 

Powering the Splendor is a 97.2cc air-cooled engine which produces 8.02PS of peak power and 8.05Nm peak torque. This is paired to a four-speed gearbox.

Hero Splendor Plus Suspension & Brakes: 

The underpinnings on the Splendor Plus are simple and reliable, with a double-cradle chassis working together with a telescopic fork and five-step preload adjustable twin shocks. The braking is handled by 130mm drum units at both front and rear, with combined braking system coming as standard.

Hero Splendor Plus Rivals: 

It competes with the Honda Shine 100, TVS Star City Plus, and Bajaj Platina 100. Moreover, the Honda Activa 6G, Honda Dio, and Bajaj Platina 110 H-Gear can also be bought at about the same price range.
