Bajaj Pulsar 125 Latest Update

If you’re planning to buy the Bajaj Pulsar 125 or any other Bajaj bike for that matter, take a look at the latest price here.

The Bajaj Pulsar 125 is the company’s most affordable Pulsar. It’s offered in both a single-piece seat and split-seat variant.

Price:

The Pulsar 125 is offered in two variants with multiple paint schemes. The Neon Single Seat variant comes at a price of Rs 82,413 and is available in three colours (Black Solar Red, Pewter Grey & Black Silver). The Carbon Fibre variant with a single-piece seat is priced at Rs 91,251, while the top-spec (split-seat) variant is priced at Rs 93,638. The Carbon Fibre variant is available in two shades: blue and red (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).

Features:

The only visual differences between the Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 are their badging and liveries. The semi-digital instrument console looks dated and only offers an odometer, two tripmeters, a speedometer and an analogue tachometer, along with the tell-tale lights. For a premium touch, Bajaj has given the Pulsar 125 backlit switchgear. Adding to the sporty appeal of the more expensive Carbon Fibre trim is the inclusion of a two-piece seat, split pillion grab rails and even an engine cowl. The OBD-2 compliant model gets additional readouts on the console, like distance to empty, real-time fuel efficiency, emission level indicators and an engine warning light.

Engine:

The Pulsar 125 is put to work using a 124.4cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, which produces 11.8PS and 10.8Nm. It is linked to a 5-speed transmission. The bike’s fuel tank capacity is 11.5 liters. The OBD-2 compliant model gets a fuel injector instead of an electronic carburetor.

Suspension & Brakes:

The Bajaj Pulsar 125 is built on a double-cradle frame, and is suspended by a telescopic fork and twin gas-charged shock absorbers. Braking is done via a 240mm front disc and a 130mm drum at the rear, with CBS as standard.

Rivals:

Striking a balance between performance and practicality, the Bajaj Pulsar 125 competes with the likes of the Honda SP 125, Honda Shine, TVS Raider 125, Hero Super Splendor, Bajaj CT 125X, and the Hero Glamour 125. For a similar price, you can also go for scooters like the TVS NTorq 125, Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid or the Suzuki Access 125.
