Tata Nexon Car Latest Updates

We have spied the upcoming, facelifted Tata Nexon SUV undergoing high altitude testing. In the latest pictures, the subcompact SUV’s Curvv-like front-end styling and heavily facelifted rear end are seen again. The 2023 Nexon will get RDE-compliant engines that should include Tata’s new, 125PS 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol unit.

Tata Nexon Engine

The Nexon is powered by 1.2-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines with the turbo petrol now more powerful producing 120PS and 170Nm of torque. The 1.5-litre diesel engine produces 110PS of power and 260Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed AMT gearbox.

Tata Nexon Variants

The Nexon is offered in 15 broad variants: XE, XM, XM(S), XMA, XMA(S), XZ+, XZ+(L), XZ+(S), XZ+ (HS), XZ+ (P) XZA+, XZA+(L), XZA+(S), XZA+ (HS), and XZA+ (P).

Each variant offers different features and equipment levels, including different infotainment systems, safety features, and interior trim levels. The higher-end variants offer a more premium experience with features such as a touchscreen infotainment system, a rearview camera, automatic climate control, and additional airbags.

Key Features of Tata Nexon

The Nexon gets a three-spoke steering wheel and touchscreen infotainment from the Altroz as well as new features like cruise control, auto headlamps and wipers as well as connected car technology. It also comes with electronic stability control, dual front airbags, rear parking sensors and i-RA voice assistant feature as standard.

Rivals include the Nissan Magnite, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Honda WR-V, Mahindra XUV300 and the Renault Kiger.
