The Mahindra XUV700 has a maximum waiting period of ten months in cities like Ahmedabad and Kolkata. The lowest wait time, which is two months, is limited to only a couple of cities. Most cities have a five-month waiting period on an average.

Mahindra XUV700 Engine

Mahindra has provided the XUV700 with two powertrain options: 200PS/380Nm 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 2.2-litre diesel which is available in two states of tune: 156PS/360Nm (MX trim) and 185PS/450Nm (AX trim). The 156PS unit is paired to a 6-speed manual, while the remaining powertrains are available with both manual and 6-speed automatic options. As standard, the SUV comes with a front-wheel drivetrain, however there’s an optional all-wheel drivetrain available with the diesel AX7 AT trim. The diesel engine gets four drive modes: Zip, Zap, Zoom, and Custom (Individual). The XUV700 is 4695mm long and has a width of 1890mm. It is 1755mm tall with a wheelbase of 2750mm.

The Mahindra XUV700 is available in two broad trims: MX and AX (Adrenox). The latter is available in four wide-ranging variants: AX3, AX5, AX7 and AX7 L. The SUV is available in both 5-seater or a 7-seater configuration.

Key Features of Mahindra XUV700

The XUV700 comes with a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system (with Mahindra’s AdrenoX infotainment software), a Sony 3D sound system with roof-mounted speakers, Alexa AI connectivity, high beam assist, and personalised voice safety alerts. Other feature highlights include a powered driver’s seat with memory function, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, cruise control, keyless entry with push-button start, and ambient lighting. Safety features consist of seven airbags, ABS with EBD, a tyre pressure monitor, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, and driver fatigue warning. It also gets segment-first features like level-1 autonomous driving tech with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.

Mahindra XUV700 Competitors

The 5-seater variant of the Mahindra XUV700 takes on the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, VW Taigun, Tata Harrier, MG Astor and Hector. On the other hand, the 7-seater takes the fight to the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and Hyundai Alcazar.
