Yamaha FZS-FI V3 Bike Latest Updates

Yamaha FZS-FI V3 Engine

The 149cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected motor remains unchanged. It makes 12.4PS of power at 7250rpm and 13.3Nm of torque at 5500rpm, mated to a 5-speed transmission. The FZ-S FI V4 is E20 (can run on flex fuels with 20% ethanol and 80% petrol) fuel compatible, making it greener. The same goes for the bike’s underpinnings. The FZS-Fi retains its telescopic fork and monoshock setup. Anchoring the bike is a 282mm disc up front and a 220mm disc at the rear. Tyre dimensions remain unchanged as well – a 100/80-section type up front and a 140/60-section tyre at the rear.

Yamaha FZS-FI V3 Variants

The FZS-Fi V3 comes in two variants: Standard And Deluxe. While the Standard has been priced at Rs 1,21,400, the Deluxe variant will set you back by Rs 1,24,400. The FZ-S FI V4 DLX bears a sticker price of Rs 1,27,400 (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).

From a design standpoint, the FZS-Fi features an all-new LED headlight with sleek new LED DRLs. It also features new LED turn indicators as standard.

Key Features of Yamaha FZS-FI V3

In terms of features, the FZS-Fi comes with single-channel ABS as standard and chunky tyres. The bikes negative LCD instrument console displays information like fuel gauge, odometer, two trip metres, F trip and a clock amongst others. There’s also an ECO indicator which guides riders with throttle modulation to help extract more fuel-efficiency from the engine. The Deluxe variant comes with Y-Connect with Bluetooth connectivity which offers features like answer back, locate my vehicle, parking record & hazard, and riding history, but sadly misses out on navigation. It also gets traction control system.

Yamaha FZS-FI V3 Competitors

It rivals the likes of Bajaj Pulsar N160, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and Hero Xtreme 160R, and the Honda XBlade.
