About Nissan X-Trail

As a part of its future product strategy for India, Nissan revealed the Qashqai alongside the X-Trail and Juke. The brand is likely to introduce the SUV in the market sometime in 2023. Meanwhile, the third-generation model made its global debut at the beginning of 2021.

The new-gen Qashqai is longer, wider, and taller than its predecessor. It also has an additional 20mm wheelbase. The SUV is based on a CMF-C platform jointly developed by Renault and Nissan.

Inside, the India-spec model could come with a 12.3-inch driver information display, a heads-up display, a 12.3-inch touchscreen information system, an electric parking brake, dual-zone temperature control,  wireless charging pad, a panoramic sunroof, and leather upholstery for the seats.

Internationally, the mid-size SUV is powered by two powertrains: a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol mild-hybrid motor with two states of tune and an e-power hybrid petrol powertrain. It is also available in two- and all-wheel-drive options.
