Audi Q8 e-tron Car Latest Update

Latest Update: Audi has given a mid-life update to its e-tron electric SUV, and added the ‘Q8’ prefix to its name.

Launch: The Q8 e-tron, an updated version of the e-tron electric SUV, is expected to arrive in India by June 2023.

Price: It is likely to be priced from Rs 1.1 crore (ex-showroom) onwards.

Variants: In international markets, the Q8 e-tron will be offered in three trims: e-tron 50, e-tron 55, and e-tron S.

Seating Capacity: It’s a five seater electric luxury SUV.

Electric Motor and Range: The SUV will be made available in three all-wheel drive (AWD) powertrain choices: a 89kWh (339PS/664Nm) dual motor setup, a 106kWh (408PS/664Nm) dual motor unit,  and a 106kWh (503PS/973Nm) triple motor setup.The WLTP claimed range of the SUV is given below:

  • 89kWh battery pack with dual motor: Up to 509km
  • 106kWh battery pack with dual motor: Up to 600km
  • 106kWh battery pack with triple motor: Up to 513km

Features: The Q8 e-tron’s features list consists of a triple screen setup, which includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8.6-inch touchscreen, and a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display. The list further includes four-zone climate control (optional),  power-adjustable and ventilated seats with massage function, and a panoramic glass roof.

Rivals: The Q8 e-tron will rival the BMW iX, Mercedes-Benz EQC and Jaguar I-Pace.
