Market Introduction:
The 2023 Tata Harrier was launched in India on 22 February, 2022.
Variants:
The Tata Harrier SUV is available in seven variants, namely XE, XM, XMS, XT+, XZ, XZ+, and XZA+(O). Furthermore, it is also offered in the Dark and Red Dark editions.
Engine and transmission:
The SUV is powered by a 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine that produces 168bhp and 350Nm of torque. It comes mated to a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic transmission. This motor has now been updated to comply with the RDE and BS6 2.0 emission norms.
Exterior:
The Harrier measures 4,598mm in length, is 1,714mm tall and 1,894mm wide, and boasts of 2,741mm of wheelbase. The SUV sports a pair of low-placed headlamps and sleek high-placed DRLs which is allegedly the new trend these days. The profile has flared arches, a sloping roof, and a floating effect on the D-pillar which defines the character of the Harrier. At the rear, it gets sleek yet sharp LED tail lamps and a sculpted tailgate.
Interior:
The interiors of the 2023 Tata Harrier now boast of a 360-degree camera, an ADAS suite, a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a fully digital instrument console, and welcome and memory functions for the six-way electrically adjustable front seats.
Safety and features:
On the safety front, the Harrier comes with six airbags, seat belt warning, child lock, ISOFIX, over speed warning, speed sensing door lock, anti-theft engine immobiliser, and central locking. Apart from this, it also gets ABS with EBD, ESP, hill-hold and hill-descent control.
Colours:
The refreshed Harrier is offered in five colours including Royale Blue, Tropical Mist, Calypso Red, Orcus White, and Daytona Grey. Customers can also choose from Dark and Red Dark editions that get an Oberon Black paintjob.
Seating Capacity:
The Tata Harrier has a seating layout to accommodate five occupants.
