Launch: It could be launched by September 2023.

Price: The 5-door version of the Force Gurkha is expected to be priced from Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.

Seating Capacity: Based on the spy images, it could be offered in a 7-seater configuration.

Engine & Transmission: The 5-door Gurkha is likely to use the same 2.6-litre diesel engine (90PS/250Nm) as the 3-door Gurkha. The unit will be mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and with 4-wheel drive (4WD) drivetrain.

Features: Features on board the 5-door Gurkha could include a 7-inch touchscreen system, front and rear (second row) power windows, and manual AC with multiple vents.

Safety: The safety kit is expected to comprise dual front airbags, a reversing camera and rear parking sensors.

Rivals: The 5-door Force Gurkha will take on the 5-door Mahindra Thar, while it can also be regarded as a premium alternative to the 5-door Maruti Jimny.
