Tata Altroz Car Latest Updates
Tata has introduced the new features that debuted with the Altroz’ CNG trims on the hatchback’s standard ICE-powered variants. The sunroof equipped variants carry a premium of up to Rs 45,000 over the non-sunroof equipped variants. Along with the sunroof, the Atlroz also gets wireless phone charger and an air purifier as feature additions derived from the Altroz CNG.
Tata Altroz Engine
Tata provides the Altroz with three engine options: 86PS/113Nm 1.2-litre petrol, 110PS/140Nm 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, and 90PS/200Nm 1.5-litre diesel. A 5-speed manual is offered as standard, while the naturally aspirated petrol engine can be had with an optional 6-speed dual-clutch automatic. The CNG is paired to the 1.2-litre NA powertrain and is geared using a five-speed MT. Output in CNG mode is 73.4PS and 95Nm.
Tata Altroz Variants
Tata offers the Altroz in seven broad trims: XE, XE+, XM+, XT, XZ, XZ (O), and XZ+.
The CNG kit is offered in six trims: XE, XM+ XM+ (S), XZ, XZ+ (S) and XZ+ O (S).
The standard variants get a total of five colour options: Harbour Blue (new), High Street Gold, Midtown Grey, Downtown Red, and Avenue White. The Dark Edition features a Cosmo Black shade, which is limited to the top-spec XZ+.
Key Features of Tata Altroz
The Tata Altroz comes features iRA connected car tech, a 7-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Harman sound system, Hinglish voice commands, climate control, rear 12V power outlet, wearable key, height-adjustable driver seat, and tilt steering. Features like an electric sunroof, wireless phone charger and an air purifier have been added to the list recently. Safety is covered by auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors with a rear camera.
