Latest Update: Here’s what to expect from the Tata Nexon EV facelift that will be unveiled tomorrow.

Launch: The electric version of the Nexon facelift will be launched on September 14.

Price: The Nexon EV facelift could be priced from Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.

Seating Capacity: It will be a 5-seater electric subcompact SUV.

Battery, Electric Motor & Range: The existing Nexon EV comes with two battery pack options. These include a smaller 30.2kWh battery pack with a claimed range up to 312km, and the other employs a bigger 40.5kWh pack, which delivers a claimed range of up to 453km. Tata hasn’t shared any information on the powertrain details of the updated electric SUV, but we can expect more range and performance.

Features: The facelifted electric SUV will most likely come with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment, a 10.25-inch fully digital driver’s display, a 9-speaker JBL sound system, and height adjustment for the co-driver’s seat.

Safety: In terms of safety, the Nexon EV facelift will likely get six airbags (as standard), a 360-degree camera, a blind view monitoring system, and front parking sensors.

Rivals: The Nexon EV facelift will rival the Mahindra XUV400 EV, and it can also be regarded as an affordable alternative to the MG ZS EV.
