Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 Latest Update

As the name suggests, the Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise is a 220cc motorcycle with swanky cruiser styling. At present, it is also Bajaj’s flagship cruiser. It gets the quintessential laidback stance with a raked out front, low, accessible seat, and a comfortable riding posture. If you’re looking to leisurely munch miles on the highway, the Avenger 220 Cruise is the ideal pocket-friendly choice. Buying one? Well, here’s the latest price list.

Price:

The Bajaj Avenger 220 price stands at Rs 1,43,373 (ex-showroom Delhi). Bajaj offers the 220cc cruiser bike in two colour schemes: Moon White, and Auburn Black.

Features:

As far as the design is concerned, the Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 is similar to its smaller sibling, the Avenger 160 Street, however, with quite a few differences. Since this is the ‘Cruise’ model, it gets a large windshield, lots of chrome elements and spoke rims. Unlike its baby sibling, the Avenger 220 Cruise gets a fully-digital instrument cluster with odometer, tripmeter, clock, fuel gauge and a service due reminder. There’s also a secondary console on the tank housing a few telltale lights. That said, there is no smartphone connectivity, even as an option. While it does get LED DRLs, the headlight, tail light and indicators are still bulb units.

Engine:

The Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise shares its heart with the iconic Bajaj Pulsar 220F. The cruiser’s air/-oil-cooled engine comes with a fuel-injection system, and produces 19.03PS, 17.55Nm. The Avenger 220 Cruise gets a five-speed transmission.

Suspension & Brakes:

The Avenger 220 Cruise employs a conventional telescopic front fork and twin rear shocks. Braking is via a 280mm front disc, and a 130mm rear drum brake, along with a single-channel ABS offered as standard. The cruiser is shod with 17-inch front and 15-inch rear spoke wheels wrapped with 90-and 130-section front and rear tubed tyres respectively.

Rivals:

Being one of the most affordable cruisers in India, there are no direct rivals to the Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise. However, for around the same price bracket, you could also get yourself the Hero XPulse 200T 4V, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V or the Suzuki Gixxer SF.
