The TVS Sport is the second-most affordable motorcycle of the Hosur-based brand in India, targeted at those who want a fuel-efficient, hassle-free commuter bike. It sits in between the entry-level TVS Radeon and the TVS Star City Plus premium commuter.

Price:

The TVS Sport Kick Start variant costs Rs 64,050 and the Electric Start version will cost Rs 70,223 (both prices ex-showroom Delhi). The electric start variant comes in five colours – Black Blue, Black Red, Metallic Grey, White Purple & Metallic Blue – while the kick start variant is offered only in two shades: All Black & All Grey.

Features:

TVS Sport has a simple design, just like other generic commuters available in our market today. However, to make it stand out a bit, TVS has given the bike bright colours with eye-catching livery. TVS Sport isn’t feature-rich as it misses out on a LED headlight, digital console and a front disc even as an option. The only LEDs on the bike are its DRLs. The instrument cluster houses an analogue speedometer, odometer and a fuel gauge with other tell-tale lights.

Engine:

Powering the TVS Sport is a 109.7cc single-cylinder engine with Eco-Thrust Fuel-Injection technology that makes 8.29PS at 7350rpm and 8.7Nm at 4500rpm, mated to a a four-speed gearbox. The company claims a top speed of 90kmph for this motorcycle.

Suspension & Brakes:

The TVS Sport sports a single-downtube frame which is fitted with a telescopic fork and twin shocks. Braking is handled by a 130mm front and 110mm rear drum units, with CBS coming as standard.
