Nissan X-Trail Car Latest Update

Latest Update: Nissan has showcased the fourth-generation X-Trail in India, which will undergo testing for now and will be launched soon after. 

Launch: The full-size Nissan SUV is expected to arrive in India by May 2023.

Price: It is expected to be priced from Rs 40 lakh onwards (ex-showroom).

Engine and Transmission: Internationally, the X-Trail comes equipped with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine (mated to a 12-volt mild-hybrid tech) with an output of 163PS and 300Nm. The strong-hybrid variant is rated at 204PS (2WD) and 213PS (4WD).

Features: The India-spec X-Trail could get a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay, a head-up display, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats and eight-way adjustable driver seat.

Safety: Its safety package may include Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) functionalities like lane-keep assist and departure warning, traffic sign recognition, adaptive cruise control and electronic stability control.

Rivals: The Nissan X-Trail will take on the likes of Toyota FortunerMG GlosterIsuzu MU-X, and Mahindra Alturas G4.
