Yamaha R3 Latest Update

As per our dealer sources, the Yamaha R3 is likely to be launched in India in September this year. Check out the details here. The bike was previously showcased at a dealer event in India. Pre-bookings for the Yamaha R3 are now open (unofficially) at some dealerships; know more about it here.

The bike gets a 321cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, making 42PS at 10,750rpm and 29Nm at 9000rpm. It’s mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. It gets a telescopic fork at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. The R3 gets a 298mm disc up front and a 220 disc at the rear. The safety net includes dual-channel ABS as standard. 

Expect it to be priced at around Rs 4 lakh (ex-showroom). When launched, the bike will compete with the TVS Apache RR 310, Kawasaki Ninja 300 and the KTM RC 390.
