Latest Update: The Tata Harrier is being offered with benefits of up to Rs 85,000 this September.

Price: The Harrier is priced from Rs 15.20 lakh and Rs 24.27 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Variants: Tata offers it in six broad variants: XE, XM, XMS, XT+, XZ, and XZ+. The ‘Dark’ and the new ‘Red Dark’ editions are offered only on the top trim.

Colours: The Harrier comes in six colours: Oberon Black, Royale Blue, Tropical Mist, Calypso Red, Orcus White, and Daytona Grey. The Oberon Black colour is exclusive to the Dark and Red Dark editions of the SUV.

Boot Space: The Harrier offers a boot space of 425 litres.

Seating Capacity: It can seat up to five people.

Engine and Transmission: The Harrier is powered by a 2-litre diesel engine (170PS/350Nm) paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque converter. Below are the stated fuel efficiency numbers for the vehicle:

  • Diesel MT: 16.35kmpl
  • Diesel AT: 14.6kmpl

Features: Tata’s flagship 5-seater SUV comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 7-inch digital driver’s display. It also gets a 6-way power-adjustable driver seat with memory and welcome function, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, and rain-sensing wipers.

Safety: It gets up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability program (standard across all variants), a 360-degree camera, and hill-hold and hill-descent control. The Harrier now also boasts advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) functionalities like forward collision warning, auto emergency braking, and blind spot detection.

Rivals: The Tata Harrier rivals the 5-seater variants of the Mahindra XUV700MG Hector and Jeep Compass, as well as the top-spec variants of the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.
