Tata Harrier Car Latest Updates

Tata has launched the 2023 Harrier facelift at Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated SUV has also achieved a 5-star safety rating in Global NCAP crash tests, with highest marks for both adult and child protection. It features refreshed exterior designs, a revamped dashboard layout, and gets new features such as a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, fully digital driver’s display, touch-sensitive climate controls, and a new steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo. It retains the 2-litre diesel engine, which can be paired with manual and automatic transmission options.

Tata Harrier Engine

Tata’s 5-seater midsize SUV is powered by the same 2-litre diesel engine which puts out 170PS/350Nm, and can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. It delivers claimed fuel efficiency figures of 16.80kmpl for 6-speed MT and 14.60kmpl for 6-speed AT. In terms of dimensions, it measures 4605mm long, 1922mm wide and 1718mm tall. Wheelbase is 2741mm.

The 2023 Tata Harrier is available in four broad trims: Smart, Pure, Adventure, and Fearless.

It is offered in seven colours: Sunlit Yellow, Coral Red, Pebble Grey, Lunar White, Oberon Black, Seaweed Green, and Ash Grey

In terms of features, it gets a new 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch fully digital driver’s display, 10-speaker JBL sound system, gesture-enabled powered tailgate, ambient lighting, a 45W Type-C fast charger, dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, a 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, 4-way power-adjustable co-driver’s seat, wireless phone charger, panoramic sunroof, and an air purifier. Safety features include up to 7 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill start assist, a 360-degree camera, tyre pressure monitoring system and a full suite of ADAS features which now also include adaptive cruise control.

The 2023 Tata Harrier will rival the 5-seater variants of Mahindra XUV700 , MG Hector, Jeep Compass as well as compact SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.
