Price:

The base variant of the RTR 160 2V, equipped with a rear drum brake, is priced at Rs 1,19,420, while the rear disc variant is available at Rs 1,22,920. The top-tier variant with SmartXonnect functionality is priced at Rs 1,26,220 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The motorcycle is offered in five attractive colour options: Pearl White, Gloss Black, Racing Red, Matte Blue, and T Grey.

Features:

The Apache RTR 160 2V boasts a fully digital instrument cluster and offers three riding modes (Sport, Urban, and Rain). The top variant introduces a segment-first voice assist feature, along with Call/SMS alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, and a wealth of other information accessible through Bluetooth/SmartXonnect.

The RTR 160 2V also incorporates the Glide Through Traffic feature, a valuable asset in navigating congested city streets. To maintain affordability, the bike is equipped with single-channel ABS. While it features an LED headlight and taillight with LED DRLs, the turn signals retain halogen bulbs.

Engine:

Under the hood of the RTR 160 2V resides a single-cylinder, 159.7cc, air-cooled engine producing 16.04PS and 13.85Nm of torque. This powerplant is mated to a 5-speed gearbox for responsive performance.

Suspension & Brakes:

The RTR 160 2V utilizes a double cradle frame suspended on a telescopic front fork and a rear monoshock. Braking duties are efficiently managed by a 270mm petal disc at the front and either a 130mm drum or a 230mm petal disc at the rear. The bike rolls on TVS-manufactured 90-section front and 120-section rear tyres. Single-channel ABS is a standard feature across all models. It gets an accessible 790mm seat height, ample 180mm ground clearance, and a generous 12-litre fuel tank.

Rivals:

The Apache RTR 160 2V competes directly with the likes of the Bajaj Pulsar N160, Pulsar 150, Yamaha FZ V3, and Honda XBlade in its price range. Alternatively, buyers considering a similar budget may explore options such as the Bajaj Avenger Street 160, Aprilia SR160, or the Bajaj Pulsar P150.
