BYD Seal is a seater sedan. The BYD Seal is expected to launch in India in November 2023. The BYD Seal will rival i4, iX1 and C40 Recharge. Expect prices to start from 60 Lakh.
BYD Seal Car Latest Update
Latest Update: BYD has unveiled the new Seal EV at the 2023 Auto Expo.
Launch: The Seal electric sedan could go on sale in India by November 2023.
Price: It is expected to be priced from Rs 60 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.
Battery, Range and Powertrain: In India, it could get a long-range 82.5kWh battery pack mated to a dual motor setup for the output of 312PS and 360Nm. It offers a claimed driving range of up to 700km. Overseas, BYD also offers a smaller 61.4kWh battery pack which can deliver up to 550km of range.
There’s also a 530PS AWD variant which can do 0 to 100kmph in 3.8 seconds.
Features: It boasts a rotating 15.6-inch infotainment display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. It also gets a panoramic glass roof.
Safety: In terms of safety, it has multiple airbags and full-suite ADAS tech, which includes features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist and blind spot monitoring.
Rivals: BYD seal will take on the likes of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6.
