Tata Curvv Car Latest Update
Latest Update: A test mule of the Tata Curvv has been spied again, revealing its coupe design.
Launch: The Curvv could go on sale by April 2024.
Price: Tata could price the internal combustion engine (ICE) version of the Curvv from Rs 10.50 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.
Seating Capacity: It will be offered in a 5-seater layout.
Engine and Transmission: The Tata Curvv will use a new 1.2-litre T-GDi (turbo) petrol engine (125PS/225Nm). This engine is likely to be mated to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT) taken from the Nexon.
Features: Features on board the Curvv could include a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, larger touchscreen infotainment system, touch-enabled climate control panel, and panoramic glass roof. It is also expected to get ventilated seats, cruise control, and push-button start/stop.
Safety: On the safety front, it could get 6 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, and ISOFIX child seat anchors. The Curvv is also expected to come with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) like autonomous-emergency braking and blind spot assist.
Rivals: It will be a rival to the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Toyota Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate, Citroen C3 Aircross and MG Astor.
Tata Curvv EV: Tata will also launch the electric version of the coupe SUV, the Tata Curvv EV.
