Latest Update: MG has launched the ‘Black Storm’ edition of the Astor.
Price: MG has priced the Astor from Rs 10.82 lakh to Rs 18.69 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India). The ‘Black Storm’ edition of the SUV is priced between Rs 14.48 lakh and Rs 15.77 lakh (ex-showroom pan India).
Variants: It can be had in five trims: Style, Super, Smart, Sharp and Savvy. Each trim gets an EX variant, which loses some safety features. The new special edition of the Astor is based on its Smart variant.
Colours: You can buy the Astor in five different colours: Spiced Orange, Aurora Silver, Glaze Red, Candy White and Starry Black. The special ‘Black Storm’ edition of the Astor comes in Starry Black exterior shade.
Seating Capacity: It has the capacity to seat five passengers.
Engine and Transmission: MG offers the Astor with two engine options: a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine (140PS/220Nm) and a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine (110PS/144Nm). The former is mated only to a 6-speed automatic, while the latter gets 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic.
