The Sonet GT Line sports a dual-tone exterior with red highlights, including an accent on the grille, wing mirrors, and side skirts. This compact SUV gets LED headlights and taillights with a reflector bar that stretches across the tailgate. Then, there’s a sunroof and dual-tone alloy wheels too.

The Sonet’s interior features a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. It receives the brand’s UVO Connect features such as voice assist and telematics. Other notable features include ventilated front seats, automatic climate control with rear air vents, wireless charging with cooling, air purifier with display, seven-speaker Bose audio system, ambient lighting, cruise control, and a digital speedometer. The GT Line trim, in addition, offers three driving modes — Normal, Eco, and Sport.

What are the engine, performance, and specifications of the Kia Sonet?

The Sonet is available with three engine options. The 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 82bhp and 115Nm of torque, is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. Then, there’s a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine churning out 118bhp and 172Nm of torque. This mill comes mated to either a six-speed iMT or a seven-speed DCT.

The Sonet also comes with a 1.5-litre diesel engine that is offered in two states of tune. The lower-spec engine produces 99bhp and 240Nm and is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. The higher-spec engine is equipped with a variable geometry turbocharger, churns out 113bhp and 250Nm, and comes mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
