The Lamborghini Urus Performante is going to arrive in the country tomorrow. The updated version will get a range of cosmetic updates, and a higher power output, and it’ll also be more track-focused. As is with the standard Urus, the model has a 4-litre, twin-turbo V8 engine, which now can deliver 657bhp –up from 641bhp — while torque is unchanged at 850Nm. The Urus Performante boasts a top speed of 306 km/h and is claimed to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds.

The Urus Performante features a coil spring setup in place of the air suspension in the standard model. It will come with four driving modes namely, Corsa (Track), Strada (Street), Sport & a new Rally mode.

On the inside, it’ll carry a black Alcantara interior while leather upholstery is optional. There are ‘Performante’ emblems on the seats, doors, and roof lining, and the seats will feature a new hexagonal pattern.

The model will have external modifications like a new bonnet with cooling vents, a front bumper design that is a little more aggressive, and a rear bumper that has new side vents. Apart from the latest design for the optional 23-inch alloy wheels, the silhouette hasn’t undergone a major transformation.

It is speculated that another model, the Urus S might also join the Urus Performante in India shortly after this launch. Both SUVs will be significantly more expensive than the normal Urus, which starts at Rs 3.10 crore (ex-showroom). For the uninitiated, the Lamborghini Urus Performante will lock horns with vehicles like Maserati Levante Trofeo, Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT, Audi RSQ8, et al, in India.
