Latest Update: MG has launched the Hector Hybrid in the Indonesian market.

Price: The prices for the SUV range from Rs 14.15 lakh to 20.11 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India).

Variants: MG Hector is offered in four trims: Style, Shine, Smart and Sharp.

Seating Capacity: It’s a five-seater midsize SUV.

Engine and Transmission: The Hector can be had with both petrol and diesel engine options. The 1.5-litre turbo-petrol (143PS and 250Nm) and 2-litre diesel (170PS and 350Nm) engines are mated to a six-speed manual transmission, with an optional eight-speed CVT for the petrol engine. A 48-volt mild-hybrid system is also available with the petrol-manual drivetrain.

Features: It is decked up with 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, ventilated front seats, wireless phone charger, Hinglish commands for connected car tech, and an auto-dimming IRVM. Additional equipment includes a 10.4-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Infinity sound system, panoramic sunroof, cruise control, automatic climate control, powered driver’s seat and ambient lighting.

Safety: On the safety front, it gets six airbags, front and rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control and a 360-degree camera.

Rivals: MG Hector rivals the Jeep Compass, Tata Harrier, Hyundai Tucson and higher-spec variants of the Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun and Kia Seltos.

2022 MG Hector: The facelifted Hector has been spied on again (without any camouflage) and this time its front profile has leaked. In related news, the new MG Hector could be offered in a single, fully loaded trim.

The price of MG Hector starts at Rs. 14.43 Lakh and goes upto Rs. 20.36 Lakh. MG Hector is offered in 12 variants – the base model of Hector is Style MT and the top variant MG Hector Sharp Diesel MT which comes at a price tag of Rs. 20.36 Lakh.
