About FZ25

Yamaha FZ25 is a street bike available at a starting price of Rs. 1,50,623 in India. It is available in 2 variants and 4 colours with top variant price starting from Rs. 1,55,137. The Yamaha FZ25 is powered by 249cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 20.51 bhp and a torque of 20.1 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, Yamaha FZ25 comes up with anti-locking braking system. This FZ25 bike weighs 153 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 14 liters.

Yamaha Motor India has launched the 2022 FZ 25 in the Indian market. The latest iteration of the quarter-litre model, similar to its predecessor, will be available in two variants – FZ 25 and FZS 25.

The changes to the 2022 model are limited to the revised colour palette for the FZS 25. From January 2022, the FZS 25 variant will be available in new Matte Copper and Matte Black colours. The FZ 25, on the other hand, will continue to be available in Racing Blue and Metallic Black options.

The styling cues remain unaltered and the 2022 FZ 25 range continues to feature a muscular fuel tank with shrouds, split-style seats, and a side-slung exhaust. The FZS 25 variant further benefits from a flyscreen and knuckle guards. The feature list continues to use a bi-functional LED headlight, LED DRLs, a negative LCD instrument cluster, a side stand with engine cut-off switch, and dual-channel ABS.

The mechanical specifications, too, remain unchanged and the FZ 25 range retains the BS6-compliant 249cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC engine that produces 20.5bhp of power at 8,000rpm and 20.1Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. The suspension tasks are handled by telescopic front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock while the anchoring duties are performed by single discs on both ends.

The FZ 25 series rivals the likes of the Suzuki Gixxer 250 and the Bajaj Dominar 250 in the Indian market.
