BMW R 1250 GS Adventure is a adventure bike available at a starting price of Rs. 22,57,814 in India. It is available in only 1 variant and 4 colours. The BMW R 1250 GS Adventure is powered by 1254cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 134.1 bhp and a torque of 143 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, BMW R 1250 GS Adventure comes up with anti-locking braking system. This R 1250 GS Adventure bike weighs 268 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 30 liters.

BMW Motorrad has introduced the BS6-compliant R 1250 GS Adventure in the Indian market. The motorcycle is available in the Pro variant only, and it will be sold alongside the standard R 1250 GS. The latest iteration of the motorcycle uses a BS6-compliant 1,254cc, two-cylinder, Boxer engine with BMW ShiftCam tech. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, the motor produces 134bhp of power at 7,750rpm and 143Nm of peak torque at 6,250rpm.

The styling cues, similar to the standard R 1250 GS, include a rugged design that comprises an asymmetric headlight, a beak-style front, and an adjustable windscreen. The Adventure variant, however, comes with a 30-litre fuel tank and tubeless tyre-compatible wire-spoke wheels. This version also gets a storage compartment, widened endure footpegs, adjustable foot brake lever, adjustable gear lever, tank crash bars, and additional LED fog lights.

The features, similar to the standard R 1250 GS, include full-LED lighting, an adaptive headlight, keyless ride, heated grips, a Bluetooth-enabled TFT colour display, a 12-volt socket, and a USB charging interface. The electronic rider aids comprise a traction control system, adaptive cruise control, ABS Pro, three ride modes (Eco, Road, and Rain), and hill-start control. The R 1250 GS Adventure tips the weighing scales at 268kg.

The suspension tasks are handled by BMW Motorrad Telelever setup (telescopic forks with a central spring strut) at the front and a BMW Motorrad Paralever (mono-shock) at the rear. The anchoring duties are performed by twin discs on the front wheel and a single rotor on the rear wheel.
