Royal Enfield Classic 350 Latest Updates
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 is the Chennai-based bikemaker’s best-selling motorcycle in the country for several years. Royal Enfield gave the Classic a major overhaul, complete with a brand new J-platform engine and chassis upgrade back in 2021. It also comes with several new features over its predecessor.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 Engine
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 is the second product based on Royal Enfield’s J-series platform. It gets the same 349cc, air-cooled single-cylinder engine as the Meteor 350. That said, the state of tune is slightly different. While it makes the same power and torque as the Meteor 350 at 20.2PS at 6100rpm and 27Nm at 4000rpm, it gets new fuel mapping that changes the way the power is fed, making it an easygoing bike. The Classic 350 gets a 13-litre fuel tank and tips the scales at 195kg kerb. The Royal Enfield Classic features a 41mm telescopic fork and a twin rear shock absorber suspension setup. Braking is done via a 300mm disc up front and a 270mm rear disc brake, with Bybre axial callipers. It rolls on a 19-inch front and an 18-inch rear wheel, wrapped in 90-section and 120-section tyres. For better ride comfort, the Classic 350 gets a redesigned rider and pillion seat with thicker padding. The handlebar sits taller, offering a more upright riding posture. Royal Enfield Classic 350 Variants
The 2021 Classic 350 is available in two variants: a disc up front and a drum brake at the rear, and a disc at both ends. Royal Enfield offers the bike in several colour schemes at different price points.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 Design
While the updated Royal Enfield Classic 350 looks quite similar to the previous model, it does feel fresher thanks to minor tweaks to the design. It retains the retro look with subtle styling updates and hints of modern technology. The headlamp features a clear lens and a new nacelle. When looked at closer, you will notice that the ‘Classic 350’ badging, tank, fenders as well as side panels are all new.
Royal Enfield Classic 350 Features
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 comes with a semi-digital instrument cluster indicating fuel, two tripmeters, an odometer, an Eco indicator and time. It also gets RE’s patented Tripper navigation as an option. The switchgear has been borrowed from the Royal Enfield Meteor 350.
