About Speed Twin 900

Triumph Speed Twin 900 is a cruiser bike available at a starting price of Rs. 10,48,143 in India. It is available in 2 variants and 4 colours with top variant price starting from Rs. 10,68,384. The Triumph Speed Twin 900 is powered by 900cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 64.1 bhp and a torque of 80 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, Triumph Speed Twin 900 comes up with anti-locking braking system. This Speed Twin 900 bike weighs 216 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 12 liters.

Triumph Motorcycles has renamed its Street Twin range and the motorcycle is now christened the Speed Twin 900.

Apart from the revised name, Triumph Motorcycles has also updated its colour palette and this retro-style product is now available in three paint options – Triumph Jet Black, Matte Ironstone, and the new Matte Silver Ice. The new paint theme features a Matte Silver Ice finish to the fuel tank with silver and yellow graphics, Jet Black side panels, and Jet Black mudguards. The colour options affect the prices.

The styling remains similar to the Street Twin. Thus, the Speed Twin 900 continues to feature a round headlight, round shape for the rear-view mirrors, tear-drop-shaped fuel tank, single-piece saddle, and twin-sided exhaust canisters.

The mechanical specifications retain the BS6-compliant, 900cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine from the Street Twin. Linked to a five-speed gearbox, the motor produces 64.1bhp at 7,500rpm and 80Nm of peak torque at 3,800rpm. The hardware includes tubular steel twin cradle frame, telescopic front forks, twin rear springs, and single discs on both wheels.
