Hero Electric AE-29 is expected to launch in India in June 2023 in the expected price range of ₹ 85,000 to ₹ 90,000. Currently available bikes which are similar to AE-29 are Odysse Racer, Okaya Faast F2T & OLA S1 Air. Another bike similar to AE-29 is Ampere Zeal EX which is launching in March 2023 in India.

Hero Electric is one of India’s well-established electric two-wheeler manufacturers, already having a decent line-up. The company intends to expand its portfolio further and this was apparent at the Auto Expo 2020 where it showcased a host of products. One of these offerings was the AE-29 electric scooter which is mainly focused on urban mobility.

While the AE-29 boasts of a somewhat conventional design, it gets several modern features such as full-LED lighting, a fully-digital console, Bluetooth connectivity, anti-theft alarm system, walk and reverse assist and a mobile charger. As for its propulsion setup, a 3.5kW battery powers a 1kW motor which assists the scooter in achieving a top speed of 55kmph. The claimed battery range stands at 80km while charging time has been affirmed to be four hours.

Hero Electric will launch the AE-29 electric scooter in India soon and the pricing will be known only after its official launch.
