About Multistrada V2

Ducati Multistrada V2 is a bike available at a starting price of Rs. 16,05,000 in India. It is available in 3 variants and 3 colours with top variant price starting from Rs. 18,32,000. The Ducati Multistrada V2 is powered by 937cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 111.3 bhp and a torque of 96 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, Ducati Multistrada V2 comes up with anti-locking braking system. This Multistrada V2 bike weighs 222 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 20 liters.

The new Ducati Multistrada V2 has arrived in India to replace the Multistrada 950 and compete against the Triumph Tiger 900 range and the BMW F 900 XR. Unlike the Multistrada 950, this sub-1000cc adventure tourer is available in two variants – Multistrada V2 and Multistrada V2 S.

The mechanical specifications on the new Multistrada V2 range continue to feature the BS6-compliant 937cc Testastretta, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, the motor on the Multistrada V2 is tuned to produce 111.5bhp of power at 9,000rpm and 94Nm of peak torque at 6,750rpm. Ducati has also managed to reduce the weight of the motorcycle by five kilograms over its predecessor.

The shock absorption setup on the S variant includes Ducati Skyhook Suspension EVO semi-active suspension system. The standard bike, on the other hand, uses a manually-adjustable setup. The braking tasks on both variants are handled by twin 320mm rotors with Brembo monobloc callipers at the front and a single 265mm disc with Brembo calliper at the back.

The styling cues are similar to the Multistrada 950. Thus, the new Multistrada V2 retains the twin-pod headlight, semi-fairing, tall windscreen, split-style seats, and a side slung exhaust. The feature list, too, remains similar to the older model and the new Multistrada V2 retains full-LED lighting, a five-inch colour-TFT display, cornering ABS, traction control system, vehicle hold control, and four riding modes (Sport, Touring, Urban, and Enduro). The S variant also gets cruise control system, Ducati Cornering Lights, and Ducati Quick Shift Up & Down.

Both variants of the new Multistrada V2 are available in Ducati Red colour. The S variant further benefits from the Street Grey paint option, wherein it gets red colour for the alloy wheels.
