Tata Punch CNG
The Tata Punch is currently one of the brand’s most successful models. The company showcased a CNG version of the Punch at the 2023 Auto Expo which featured the same design as the standard car. Tata made its entry into the CNG segment by launching the Tiago CNG and Tigor CNG last year. The car will most likely feature the same 1.2 Litre iCNG engine as the Tiago and Tigor CNG models. This engine produces around 85 bhp and 113 Nm of torque in petrol mode and 75 bhp and 83 Nm of torque in CNG mode. It will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The car will reportedly come with 2 small CNG tanks in the spare tyre compartment to save boot space and will probably get 366 litres of boot space as a result. The car could have a fuel efficiency of 26 kmpl when launched. The model is expected to launch by June 2023 along the Altroz CNG. The car is expected to be priced from Rs. 7 to 10 lakhs when it launches.
